You can try some poses with wider framing, without holding it in your hands. Put phone against the tree, with app like Opencamera that can do infinite timer. You will delete most, but there will be some good keepers for sure.
Nice warm sunlight is optional, but it helps greatly... having good lighting is half of the success...
