As someone who went out of his way to read the original mirror moon release of FSN a few months back, that CG wasn't a RN addition.
I'll try and summarize what I remember got added in RN off videos I watched as a method of comparison:
>Shirou holding Berserker's rock sword during Nine Lives Blade Works
>Sakura in the classroom during the afternoon
>Saber vs. Assassin duelling blades in Fate, and Saber finishing Assassin off in UBW
>Rin reaching out for Saber while she's trapped in Archer's sword jailcell
>Kuzuki death gripping Saber during their first encounter, and also hitting her in the back of her head
>Saber in the bus next to Shirou
>Saber wiping Illya's mouth while she's eating
>Saber with the lion cub
note that I excluded things like sprites of Rin holding her bowl out & wearing an apron, Saber in Caster's dress, and CGs like the forest variant of Illya&Berserker when she's wearing her regular attire instead of her winter coat.
Safe to say they added a lot of extra stuff to stay night, especially music. The only thing the '04 release has over RN is the lack of music sometimes resulting in better track selection for certain scenes. Wandering Shadow, for example, didn't play until you saw Rider for the first time in the Matou house.
