>Lyra's eyes cross comically as I jostle her muzzle, her entire body freezing in reverent shock at being touched by actual human fingers again. When I release her, she wobbles on her hooves, looking utterly starstruck.
>"She touched my muzzle with her fingers," Lyra whispers in awe, speaking to nopony in particular. "Actual human fingers! On my actual muzzle!" Her horn sparks with excitement, sending little teal magic flickers into the air.
>Bon Bon giggles, nudging her dazed friend. "Come on, you big goof. We'll be late for Professor Inkwell's class, and you know how she gets about tardiness."
>"But… but… fingers!" Lyra protests weakly as Bon Bon begins pushing her down the hall.
