I was pretty much living like this. The roaches (german variety , just like this webm) were already in the apartment when I arrived but it got worse cuz of my habits
I didn't have heaps of trash just laying around, my issue grew cuz of not doing dishes (same shit really, it's just food out in the open)
Funnily enough I never got sick because of it, and if I ever got the runs I could easily track it to suddenly altering my eating habits and eating out (which just tells me how insanely bad some street food is compared to fucking food prepared in a roach infested place)

I got rid of them 6 months ago and have been clean since then
