Depends on platform and language but on PC we download the DMM launcher which is a program that runs japanese games. Though you need a VPN for that.
After that is done and the game is downloaded we use an English Patch from the Last Origin discord that is linked at the Last Origin wiki.
Once the game is open, you can close the DMM program and the VPN to play as pleased
