Shippuden music wasn't bad and had a lot of great songs, it was just noticeably more repetitive than part 1 music. There was a tug of war between the good guys and bad guys in the big final ninja war arc and there was a tonal shift every couple episodes where the heroes would start to win and they'd play the heroic music, then the bad guys would start to win and they'd play the ominous baddie music. I did not count how many times they went back and forth (it was a lot) but they re-used the same music a whole lot
