Going training mode autism in this game reminds me of when it was actually at my local arcade and there was this weird SNK head who would constantly gripe and whine. Once he was complaining about Kyo not having his 63214K strike grab anymore (understandable in and of itself) and I tried to placate him saying it could come in handy, because it let Kyo easily buffer hcb x1 into 5D for more reliable confirms into hcb x2 for leader super. But I could barely get through a sentence without him complaining louder. This was a long time ago, but iirc this guy was trying to rein me in to be part of the scene as sort of a mentor specifically for SNK games, only I was already better at this and NGBC than he was, and sometimes he'd pretend to cry unless you let him win. Sometimes I wonder how that guy's doing. Might sound kinda sad but I'm still grateful he gave me somebody to actually play and be enthusiastic about SNK games about with in-person, which is hard to come by, and especially was back then, pre-Discord. There was also a guy who was in the 3S local scene who played Maximum Impact with me, who basically faked being friends with me to get to play it at my house, only for him to get 1 win (it took a long time), declare himself better than me in general and leave. Fighting game heads are weird, man. I was essentially gatekept back when but I'm not even sure I mind anymore. Especially watching these CEO highlights that are a straightup top player circle jerk where Jebailey is apparently in leagues with DDR Storm now, which is run by a guy who used to like taking discreet upskirts of high school girls at his events to send around to his friends, one of whom ran the aforementioned arcade that had KoFXI and I'm PRETTY sure sex trafficked out of the break room. I think it was a recruitment type thing for the chicks. Anywho. I like fighting games. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I forgot how nice the stages in this game are.
