Everyone online in the 2000s knows what All Your Base are Belong to Us is. It was part of our culture and as such we can relate to the experience of seeing and sharing it. OP's post is about nostalgia and an era many of us shared together.
You don't have to like anime, you can be against consumerism (how do you avoid that in this world?), but those are kino fucking anime and I'm sorry you didn't get to experience them when they were new and have to watch Streamers and Skibidi toilets instead.
