I genuinely don't understand how they managed to fuck up so badly. Especially after world.
All they had to was simple. Really fucking simple ; World with GU-tier content. That's it.
What's so difficult about that? They've got decades worth of design and skeleton in the franchise and all they had to do was just improve upon World, listen carefully to the players and put those things in! That's it! What's so hard about pulling that off? They have the budget i swear to god they have the budget to pull it off.
We don't need new gimmicks, new counters, new stories and new NPCs to burn money at, no! Who the fuck thought anyone needed any of that? God, the more i think about it the more my head fucking hurts. Capcom had it all; an IP with absolutely ZERO competition, a loyal and dedicated fanbase, the budget that came with world's success. Why the hell did they decide to throw it all away? Fuck. What a fucking waste, man.
