1. Greeks were taught by North Africans and levantines. Their scripture was given to them by Phoenecians. Their philosophers and mathematicians were taught by Egyptians
2. China had boats and could have colonized much of the world if they wanted to, but there wasn’t desperation in China to leave the country like there was in European countries.
3. During and after colonization is where Europe started becoming wealthy. Cortez was shocked by some of the Native American cities and how advanced they were. They looted all the gold and enslaved the people.
