there was a transition, ninjas for comparison. original mk ninjas full cloth outfits, mk2 was still cloth but added those motocross mouth guards that maybe unintentionally made them look more stylized or "modern", and then mk3 gave them full like spandex/leather looking superhero type outfits. i like them all
