Is there really any reason to get into Thinkpads from a hobbyist perspective, if I already have a few older desktop builds for old operating systems that I tinker with anyway? I use an old Aspire laptop on IOT LTSC and it does everything I need. I browse this thread a lot, but I just think laptops in general are pretty lame.
