I think this is also problem of how phone always fucks up white balance and contrast/brightness. Here is different photo, now closer to how they actually look.

But you said that most of them are too dark so solution would be more drybrushing? 1# was made with mud paste, covered with rust wash and drybrushed with orange red and dark yellow, 2# was made with sand paste, treated with dark brown wash and drybrushed with Vallejo "dark sand", 3# was brown earth paste with rust wash and drybrushed with "dark sand" and "pale sand", 4# was sand paste with sepia wash and "pale sand" drybrush.
