I live in the 'nice' part of Berlin. Fuckers tried to get into my basement, and the police filed it as "property damage" rather than a break-in.
The neighbor above me had 1 (failed) attempted break-in with a drill. A week later, someone tore the vertical strip off his door with a crowbar, which the police called "material fatigue". On the same day, someone drilled though the door of another appartment in the house, which the police tried to claim was a pre-existing hole.
During that time, around 30 break-in attempts happed in my immediate neighborhood, which the police claimed to be unrelated incidents
