it's a roguelite (so there's actual progression). you need to collect enough ambrosia to exit the map and so your village can survive the harvest, but there's this large monster (and other things..) hunting for you. the card drawing mechanic is basically like modifiers that'll affect the next map and some of them change the gameplay quite a bit.
it's also really gorgeous-looking, i love the artstyle. it vaguely reminds me of Hunt: Showdown's setting.
