I don't because I'm not a pussy and tell people that I'm not currently interested in hanging with them, hanging with someone else, or just plain busy. If you don't pussyfoot things people get the picture and don't have this semi autistic second guessing game that makes their thoughts on the matter so much worse than it actually is. If someone is clingy I let them know that they are being clingy and I'm unable to fulfil the level of attention they desire from me.
