To me at least, this seems obvious. They have nuclear power plants and material, and they have demonstrated their missile technology.
In my opinion the fact is hidden from us plebs to prevent other middle eastern countries from demanding nukes - nuke proliferation across the oil suppliers in the middle east would have extreme geopolitical consequences.
Am I wrong in thinking this? I postulated it to my friends and they just parroted "US intelligence says they have no nukes".
