Last but not least is the "Kaigen's Ambition" timeline, which takes place in an alt-universe where Ishima Kaigen has been resurrected alongside her army of undead Patriots even before the events of Hanachirasu take place. In this setting, Tokyo is subjected to a power struggle between the Hokodome-no-Kai terrorist group, the Takigawa Corporation, the Imperial Government and Ishima Kaigen's Order. In the true ending of Kaigen's Ambition, Akane slays Igarasu in their duel atop Tokyo Tower and commits seppuku afterwards - not realizing that Ishima Kaigen is present to claim Igarasu's body after their duel. The power struggle ends in Ishima Kaigen's victory and total control over Tokyo - until the USA drops an atomic bomb on the place to put an end to her ambitions. This method however fails since the Immortal Ishima Kaigen won't let an atomic bomb subjugate her Order, and instead turns the entirety of Tokyo into undead, patriotic warriors that follow her every command. This ending leads into the aforementioned Kaigen Seito in which a resurrected Akane makes his way through an undead Tokyo to reclaim what belongs to him.
