it can be helpful for sure. if you have a nice lower third then clean shaven-heavy stubble looks best. but for those without that luxury a good beard can help as long as it properly disguises your face. cant be patchy or scraggly looking, but you also dont want it looking super groomed because that gives the reddit onions beard oil guy look and that is the opposite of masculinity.
