I grew up during the time of the old-school wrestling circuits.
Here in the Detroit area, it was called "Big Time Wrestling". The roster included Edward Farhat, who went by the name "the sheik", (now called "the original sheik" after someone else used the name for decades.
He was the crazy guy in the ring. Fun fact, he was also a part owner of big time wrestling. Here he is wrestling BoBo Brazil, another big name on the circuit and (I think), one of the first black men in professional wrestling:

Also a shout-out to Pampareo Firpo (the 8th wonder of the world), whose signature move was the "el garfio", where he would grab your entire face with one hand, and squeeze until you gave up.
