It's a scripted stunt performance. The flips and the shoves in the ring are definitely fake (and more than a little gay) but you also can't exactly fake falling 16ft straight onto your spine. Here in the Detroit area, it was called "Big Time Wrestling". The roster included Edward Farhat, who went by the name "the sheik", (now called "the original sheik" after someone else used the name for decades.
