You know as a thought experiment while commuting to work I tried to turn some of the more anemic factions into total war rosters, and it takes a fair bit of fidgeting + using wacry etc but it worked out surprisingly well. For fyreslayers I got to around 15 units wihout just making shit up (like magmadroth cavalry), excluding heroes and lords n stuff. For comparison, empire launched with around 20.
