by recent i mean anything in the past 15 years at least. music in the game is easily the greatest out of any game consistency-wise at least. the characters are written better than 95% of games out there. the story is reminiscent of something like final fantasy X but the twist is written and incorporated way better. i genuinely think it'll go down as a cult classic in years to come, it's honestly great in every aspect as long as you like the gameplay.
