Those were still better written than Owlcat games. At least Larian characters have an actual personality and an interesting backstory, Owlcats "character writing" is just shoving a basic trope onto someone and maybe detailing it a bit with whatever licensed product they're using this time. There isn't a single character remotely as interesting or cool as the Red Prince or Astarion in any Owlcat game. I also note you failed to mention a single other developer, proving that even you realize Owlcats writing is trash. Either that, or you don't actually play CRPGs so you have nothing to compare it to in the first place.
