You're really overthinking this for core, I hope it's because you like to rather than feel you have to.
Stats are fine but maybe more cha for persuasion, int is ok for having more skills but that could go to con instead.
Personally I'd drop Dex to 10 or 12 if you're doing heavy armor, it's wasted since you're not taking weapon finesse. It won't apply to your AC.
Drop Dex and give wis and cha a boost. I'd take the teamwork feats earlier too

Rogue trader dlc idea, expanded mercs. Add in some xenos mercs and alignment stuff, If you are dogmatic you can get space marines and shit and if you are hertical you can get demons and chaos marines, iconclast gets extra xenos mercs.

I'm thinking of a solo build for RT.

It's gonna have to be psyker since you need warp surge broach to get the extra attacks.
It can't be officer as there's nothing to support.
Armor tanking is mandatory as you'll never stack enough dodge to survive round 1.
High movement is going to be necessary to simply run away from bad encounters.
Forge world is probably optimal for the extra armor, ability to dump fellowship, and prone immunity.
Sanctic and Pyro will be needed for the survivability, scaling, and armor penetration.
Blade Dancer is essential as it offers the best action economy, survivability, mobility, and dps.
Most stats can be ignored, but toughness is non negotiable as is 45 strength for heavy armor.

So the build seems to be a tanky blade dancer that runs away a lot to try and scale from safety while spamming med kits.

you ought to be able to buy terminator armor for ulfar. if you can buy other pieces of astartes armor why not termie? give it crazy deflection and even more armor, lock it behind high rep + large pf and have it reduce mp by like 50% ulfar could use heavy weapons with one hand and have something else in his off hand like a melee weapon. in the end it doesn't really matter since it'd work for just one companion and maybe it'd be hard to balance. just a fun thought

Obsidian was definitely on the right track with tyranny the only thing I would change is instead of the bad guy already taking over 90% of the world it should be 50% and when the rest of the world unites to rebel your the one who takes has a major influence on the big tipping point where the big bad guy gets like 60-70% of the world pretty much sealing that he is going to take it all over.

Playable aliens in Rogue Trader RPG never shoukd have been a thing. And now the video games are suffering for it.
Killing aliens is fine. Playing as them is not. 40k is a setting about man's inhumanity to man, and the inevitability of chaos because of mankind's own dark impulses. Making aliens playable dilutes the experience and invites people to make the setting something it's not. Aliens are npc races for a reason. And the fact that this thread is full of people who can't see this is just one of many reasons this thread is always shit. My point illustrated now Dark Heresy a game system that had no aliens is getting them in the vidya, not only are people fine with it, they want fucking more. 40K isn't Mass Effect and about romance faggotry, it's about constant hopeless toil and suffering of humanity and that should have remained the center theme. Solider+MT with a sniper (and fortress world) is pretty neat. I get to play an active combat roll and buff people. Doing it as a noble is kinda "meh" at 1st since those abilities don't come online until you get master tactician.

I tell myself I already beat it twice, I don't need to play it a third time so soon.
I tell myself that there's more dlc next year and a big balance patch soon, so I should just wait for those so the experience is new.

But I still just find myself wanting to play rt anyway. I love it so much. I keep imagining playing a different class and taking the party members I didn't really take last time and playing the third alignment I haven't played yet and it just seems so fun.

I had a similar experience with bg3. I replayed that one several times already in just the 2 years it's been out. Some games just click with you and you play them a bunch even though you already beat it multiple times.
When I was a kid I used to replay the kotor games in a similar fashion, I played those probably 8 times each over the years.
I buy pretty much every crpg that comes out, but more than half of them I don't play even a second time, while a select few just click with me and I can enjoy them a bunch of times.

From Cassia's perspective it must be the most natural thing in the world that the RT fell for her.

I'm almost finished with RT. This is clearly a game that wishes it was a dark heresy game instead. The whole main plot is inquisition related and feels like a mystery thriller instead of a space opera adventure. Basically, you could play the whole game as Heinrix with the RT as his NPC waifu and Calcazar as his mentor turned enemy and nothing would change that much. His quests and related characters are also amongst the most interesting, they have the spy novel-noire vibe that fit best with the overarching plot.
I like the game but it would have felt more rogue tradey if there was more emphasis on Winterscale, Chorda, Footfall and Kasballica/Explorators/Pirates/etc faction politics within the Expanse.

Siege of shadowdale>Crimson tides>Tyrants of the moonsea is the intended "trilogy" of modules but you can easily slot Darkness over Daggerford in there instead as it has a similar level range to crimson tides and the plots aren't really connected other than a few references and hints of a greater plot that will be concluded in the authors future modules.
If you've already finished darkness over daggerford and want to keep playing with that character just transfer them to moonsea.

I beat shadowdale and crimson tides recently and really enjoyed them (mostly crimson tides, shadowdale is a little basic) I'd recommend playing them at some point.
I haven't actually played moonsea yet, I should get on that.
