Got sent out to die like Visions of Mana, which was another pretty great game. It wasn't as good as the Trials remake, but it was solid and worth playing (I am one of 5 people that did, like NEO).
Sometimes good games just fail and that's how it is. This happened even back on the older consoles. Legend of Legaia, Azure Dreams, Wild ARMS getting buried by FF7 (this one is kinda their fault because FF7 is better), Koudelka, etc etc etc.
