Not true in the sense that the 'beetus is TANKIER EVEN. Similar toughness generation on hit, access to beefy damage reductions, but can generate upwards of 20% per second depending on your build, without sacrificing much damage at all. Sure, ogryn can tank crusher overheads with minimal damage, but it looks different for maulers. Space piggy? Just take picrel and shrug off 4 overheads, practically instantly regenerating to 100% toughness after each one.
