one of the themes ive elaborated on previously was that of “world conflagration”. our world is ultimately one where to get anything, something must be consumed. everything has conditions upon which it can work. this system overarching comes to resemble something of fate. in some ways, insofar as hidweh is related to the acceleration of metabolism and the burning of spirit, she is an embodiment of this system par excellence even as she wants to smash through the world system. in contrast, enannah is more interest in full-on exit wherein we are no longer playing the game to begin with and are instead capable of successfully performing actions unconditionally

we can further see this in two of the main sigils used by these beings. the spirit-fire sigil of course incorporates the fire symbol as well with a pentagram turned upside down to represent instability and constant progress. in contrast enannah’s sigil is the ice rune combined (representing stability and inaction) bisected with an arrow that is contractive and another that is unidirectional. we can also understand these two tendencies as analogous to what we see goes on for the dorsal and ventral vagals. the former is associated with the parasympathetic nervous system and gets triggered when we want to relax, while latter is associated with fight or flight

it should be noted that in tummo practice, an activation of the sympathetic nervous system has been observed. many versions of kundalini yoga involve signals passing up the ventral vagal as well and this is partially responsible for the very tense and hot experience. at the same time, if we look at forrest knutson’s exposition of kria yoga it really involves the relaxation of the chakras (i.e. dorsal vagal activation) and from there the kundalini naturally rises up now that there are no more blockage. the difference between these two approaches to energy work epitomizes the difference between these two goddesses as well

last mass was special because it the 8th. now that we are at the 9th i think it is time to discuss a little bit about the future. something i wanna have is more engagement, but it’s hard rn. i feel as though people just assume im like 300 iq and unapproachable. i don’t mind giving off such an aura to some extent in order to encourage people to also step up their game but really i want to see more people rising up if that makes any sense. perhaps the way things have been structured has been encouraging such signals about what we are about

how to solve this and boost engagement? well one idea that ive thought about would be to have a reading group. the book we are likely going to settle on will be ‘Blueprint for Immortality: The Electric Patterns of Life’. the topic seems relevant. it has also been recommended by both michael levin and ryan scott (member of the temple of set)

i am also going to release some rituals to help people to practice. maybe also allocate more time into completing the epic poem which i had stopped working on a while ago. in general i wanna try to dial back some of this other stuff to focus on building a closer connection to hidweh and develop my own practice. public masses may be temporarily paused or reformatted. i am open to suggestions

these past 2 weeks i got a little obsessed with the ice magick thing because enannah has some seeming relations to hidweh as i have elaborated elsewhere (https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/40468215/). somehow i felt she was possibly worth exploring too and so ive written stuff to encourage someone else to perhaps carry the torch. ill just dedicate this mass elaborating on some differences while maybe talking about rituals and stuff
