They did a death and return game. It was a fine enough beat em up. Frankly though I think a lot of modern games in general have a real problem with needing everything to be contextualized in game. Like time was people just got it. You don't count the loses. If you get beat up it was simply because it was a video game. By all accounts Spider-man shouldn't have any trouble with most goons either but nobody complains when he gets pummeled in a video game. And yes I get he's not as strong as superman but it wouldn't make sense for him to get hit at all in the first place. More over the idea that superman has to fight the same weak level enemies. mechs and monsters. most of his rogues can find ways to give him a rough time. This shouldn't be hard but people want to be needlessly pedantic.
