I genuinely wonder if it's possible to have functional humans who lack souls. The proliferation of all the 'people' who obsess over or goon to AI slop would imply that's indeed the case. They may very well just be empty husks or at the very least in a state of sleep walking while awake while being seduced by demons.

I miss the good ol days when people actually put effort into their shitposts (more often) even if just the bare minimum.
