why?
it's cool you can gather many different roundels and show the plane is worldly and traveled to many places


the syrians and egyptians actually 'countered' this by unifying under one state for several years so they had the same roundel. and even when the roundels are seperate they are very similar and only have a different number of stars on them (2 vs 3). so you cant tell the difference. imo they should have used flags or something (although at the time they had the same flag which also presents problems)
