My parents are landlords with multiple different "businesses" or "side gigs". I'm lucky because it means I get to avoid regular W2 jobs in favor of focusing on furthering my various other skills and business ventures such as making wine, foraging, art, reselling, viticulture and gardening, yard work, and maintaining a home and caretaking. All things that lead me to realizing I'm a witch and will likely never maintain employment under someone else.
