There is no whatabout about this. Sure, the lack of material means might restrict our choices and employers might create unfair contracts, which closely resemble slavery. However, a slave has no way out of situations like this, unless they had a good master. You can end an abusive contract with your boss, but a slave cannot. If you were a slave, you wouldn't even have the right to post things like this without the possibility of your master punishing you.
