I did, but only after nerfing rifts into the fucking dirt.
Seriously, my first world was set by default and the rift creatures were spawning NON-STOP.
I tried to relocate multiple times, travelling great distances, but none of that helped.

So I modified the YAML files. Now the rift creatures are like 80% less likely to spawn, storms and temporal rifts are disabled and this feels much better.
These faggots only spawn underground now or when it's VERY DARK outside.

I was tired of running away and slaughtering rift creatures 24/7, but didn't want to live without them either.
