the entire pre final arc and ending was just the author throwing an aggressive tantrum because he was going through a serious depression phase because Prison School became so huge and popular that his other more serious manga (that he cared about deeply) was much less successful. the 80% of the series is still amazing but that last 20% drags it down and leaves a bad taste. the author threw away a lot of incredibly great narrative potential just to show the readers and his publisher a middle finger (pic very related). I didn't hear anything about him having plans to "fix" the series. I really hope it's true desu. an updated re-run with a proper ending ala Shaman King Kanzenban would be Godlike
