I burst out laughing when they name dropped Urusei Yatsura in the middle of a random episode. It was as shocking as some old lady asking if you've seen the latest Jujutsu Kaisen episode. One of the writers must have gone to Japan and discovered it that way. Or they were importing fansubbed VHS tapes.
