Some Vorthos basically explained why last thread. Essentially the writing is shit and the characters are unattractive. Characters will disappear for years at a time with no hints to if/when they're ever coming back so it's very hard for people to get invested in personalities when R&D will take a shit on them anyway if they want to use the characters as a plot device to rework a plane.
