From an extremely autistic artistic dude perspective, I kinda get Tamers point of view on trying to make what makes him more money. But at the same time I really don't approve how he basically turned his back on the fans who have been supporting him for god damn 10 years. Is like I'm missing some context here.
I only create things for the joy of creating, I don't have social media or crap like that, but I can't say I would not be extremely tempted if a bunch of people started waving around bags of cash for me to keep creating the autistic shit I like.
At same time it really doesn't feel like that for him, reading the thread feels like the guy got almost stolen by another fanbase and he has no choice but to keep making the new pony stuff because otherwise shit is going to hit the fan because his new fans are sociopaths that would try to destroy his life if he stopped and his old fans are almost there too, all of that for literal big butt internet cartoon.
What I don't understand is why he decided to erase all his sonic stuff and not make both in parallel? Why the dichotomy here? Why you people need to be enemies to begin with?
I don't care about his stuff but really feels like a problem all of you created together. Tamers for selling out, you guys for the emotional reaction and the ponyfaggots for being such massive faggots and clearly enjoying trash to begin with. From an outside perspective the solution for this problem is so simple. Tamers will be making both at same time, one for the ponies and other for his original fans. He can sell out and keep some of his integrity all the same, and both would still be equally unhappy. But somehow is like he needs to chose who is more worth of his love like he is a kid in a divorce. is pretty wild.
Personally, in this guy position I would find a way of having a fan battle royal, allowing only the most powerful and vicious fanbase be the winner. I don't have fans anyway so whatever.
