1 day on the salt flats is enough. I promise.
Definitely don’t skip Sucre, lovely little city and one of the last few truly unspoiled gems in travel.
The elevation is a cunt. El Alto and Potosi will probably wreck you, the difference between 10,000 feet and 13,000 feet is stark.
Death road bike ride is a great, touristy experience imho.
If you are going to Bolivia and Peru, then do all your Lake Titicaca stuff from the far superior Bolivian side. Way more fun, way less touristy.
I spent an entire day riding the La Paz “metro” and it was great.
