Also, I started noticing that the author has a habit to show that somebody got beaten badly and is out of strength by having them dropping to one knee or both (arms hanging next to the body) and again, no expression, no other motions.

Probably lack of time due to weekly releases and lack of experience to try to do more lively poses and compositions, so he/she uses this copypasta slop. It really sticks out when you realise how often is this template used.

I guess we should be glad for the manga (usually monthly, so more effort can be made) that are really good at this stuff instead of demanding perception everywhere, but man, it makes the manga Frieren characters feel so lifeless.
