Japan is lost to moe subculture; that's why you would only see the most generic moeblobs on billboards. Not even stuff like Dragon Ball, One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Gundam, which are insanely popular in Japan, are on any billboards. Also, Japan only likes Sonic Adventure-style games.
