If by sandwhich you mean picrel then I have never ate one like that. I have only eaten grilled cheeses with this kind of bread.
If under sandwich you include hamburgers and grilled cheese then I have ated both of those and found it good
Though usually the sandwiches I make consist in these small Brazilian baguettes filled with random stuff I have on the fridge
