Is it even a hot take to say that NR feels like a roguelite designed by someone who never actually played any roguelites before?
Is it a hot take to say that NR doesn't apply any of the game design lessons that nearly 15 years worth of roguelites (released since Binding of Isaac began the modern roguelite explosion) have accumulated in terms of game design wisdom?
I mean, NR somehow has worse procedural generation than Bloodborne's Chalice Dungeons, for fuck's sakes.
