depends on what you imagine a spell to be
if you are gifted as an esper you can perceive things out of sight, paired with astrology you can see into the future. it can also give you the ability to change how others perceive you and become essentially invisible where people dont notice you, find buried treasure, or give you the ability to relay thoughts to others via telepathy.
you can also curse others by using telepathy to send them bad thoughts and with a sufficiently strong will you can drive them insane but you cannot transmit material things through the immaterial plane (magic)
