Armour King, a helpful human sympathizer, has a shop setup in a former Second Empire town, which is now quite close to what is the heart of the Holy Nation. To the north we can find another familiar questionable character (don't worry, Burn's chill) - the unscrupulous Iyo. Being blunt here - the theory isn't too complex:

Armour King... has no clue why such an end would be sought - it's too distant from his established view of the world. He creates a dangerous paradigm for Skeletons... when was his last reset? Is he insane? Is he telling the truth? Is it possible Cat-Lon... is telling the truth too? They did betray the empire... and look at the world it got them.
