good food, lots of history, and still plenty to do besides the sexpat stuff if you're averse to that

ok the city has a lot of things that suck about it but there are cool museums, lots of nature stuff (assuming none of it's on fire when i visit), at least it has every cuisine in the world and i don't have to worry about whether any of it is halal

both have good parts and "stay the fuck out of here" parts but unlike 99% of tourists I'm street-smart and do my research before coming

and while i'm not some newurbanistfag, both are known to be car dependent, but "THE LINE" is, well, the fucking LINE... the opposite extreme imo

like there's not going to be a "the line cuisine" or a "history of the line" or a "old the line historic district". if i'm rich af maybe it'll be better, but i'm not rich af. same reason i don't plan on visiting even dubai any time now.

if i really wanna see blocky and expensive aesthetics I have all of northern europe + japan at my disposal

i just really hate deserts in general anyways, would have a hard time moving to phoenix or vegas here.
