Not really, but I've seen works in that medium. I just work with what I have at my disposal (shitty office paper), I'll keep in mind your suggestion though.
If the black and whites look unfinished is because they are, I don't really intend them to finish them in black in white or graphite because I color them and it kind of defeat its pvrpose, feel like it's like doing unnecessary extra work.
But I do graphite once in a while, here's an example.
