Note: the clue is in the name. If you're not replying to another anon, your post should be in the form of a question, and directed at people of the opposite gender to you. This is NOT the place for blog posts.

The following are NOT allowed, because they're against /adv/ forum rules:
- NSFW images.
- Racism (only allowed on /b/).
- Trolling, ragebait, pretending to be retarded, etc. (Also only allowed on /b/).
- Avatar posting, posting pictures of yourself or personal details.

The following are technically allowed, but there are better places to post them, and they're considered off-topic here:
- Politics (try /pol/).
- Gender wars or incel rants (try having sex).
- Discussion of LGBT issues (It's July which means being gay is illegal).
- Miscellaneous ranting and venting. (Elsewhere on /adv/ there is a thread called GIOYC - Get It Off Your Chest - which is the place for that.)

If you have a technical, scientific, medical, or legal question, then you *can* post it here, but does it really make sense to only ask people of the opposite gender to your own?

Help to make the thread better by REPORTING off-topic, low-quality, or rule-breaking posts.

Finally, if you're thinking of starting a new thread:
- DON'T, unless the old one has hit the image limit or reached page 10 or the old thread is ATOG instead of ATOGA
- Remember to include these rules in the OP.
- Check the catalog immediately before you post to make sure you aren't creating a duplicate thread!
