Feedback is atrocious, the "new" hammer offset now adds that horrid offset slowmo and sparks by default even on non-topple hits irrelevant if your weapon physically connected to the monster or not. It feels like hitting AIR. Previous games had a powerful hitstop that felt amazing when getting GOTCHA BITCH. Decades of gameplay evolution lost.
