The take that Gold Ship never went 'all out' is also just a massive exaggeration based on the fact that his trainer liked to joke that Gold Ship's ability was mood dependant. He was never some legendary undefeatable giga-horse, he just could get incredible results. That being said his retirement is comfy as all hell, and the youtube channel based around his eccentric personality has given him more fame than superior steeds like Kitasan Black.
